Welcome to the Inchture Area Community Council Website

The Inchture Area Community Council is a group of volunteers from the area who work together to assist with any queries from local people. Our area covers Inchture, Baledgarno, Abernyte, Ballindean, Kinnaird, Rait and in between. We work closely with our Local Councillors, Perth & Kinross Council, and Police to monitor and improve any issues which affect our everyday lives. Topics can include Planning, Roads & Transport, Education and Trees & Environment.

Inchture Area Local Place Plan
A draft of the Local Place Plan document has been developed and we would love to hear your thoughts. There is currently an opportunity for the local community or wider stakeholders to give feedback and ask questions about the proposals. The proposals of the Local Place Plan were formed from the community consultation and was entirely led and coordinated by the community volunteers. The feedback window is open from 22nd June 2026 to 22nd July 2026.  Please email [email protected] to receive a PDF copy of the LPP draft for review.

During February 2026, we gathered local opinions to develop a 'Local Place Plan'. We asked the question - How do you want our area to look in 2038? We created a questionnaire (Google Forms Questionnaire) and an open map (Placecheck Map). You may have received a flyer through the door or saw posters up around the community noticeboards and posted on the village Facebook groups. The online survey is now closed, but you can still get involved. Developing a community plan can guide future planning decisions, focus on local priorities and amplify community voices.
