PLANNING
The planning re-application for houses at Rossie Park Drive is pending.

An application for two houses at Fingask Lodge, which was refused, has been appealed

An application for a farm managers house at Hilltown of Ballindean, which was refused, is to be appealed.

The Council has objected to the proposal for 50 houses at the Horn. Errol Community Council has also objected.

The Horsehoe Café’s application for a lorry park and managers house has been refused. It is likely that they will appeal.

The planning approval for the two new houses in garden in garden ground at Rait was discussed with particular reference to the possibility that the cottages occupied by the applicant might be demolished. J. Hulbert said that he thought that it  would be more likely they would be sold.

Regarding Muir Homes planning application at Inchture, it is likely that planning permission will be given in the next few days. As a condition of the approval Muir Homes is to provide Community benefits of £150,000, within 6 months, to be spend as the Community wishes.  This will probably be done through the Community Council. Perth & Kinross Council will give advice on the funds expenditure and J Hulbert was asked if he could arrange for a Council Officer to attend the next meeting. It was decided to make this information available in the next Newsletter and invite suggestions.

J Hulbert was asked when Muir Homes would be funding the School extension.

The Council is to write to Perth & Kinross Council, reminding them to make good the Borrow Pits at Rait and Fingask,  in a sympathetic manner, and also to reinstate the right of way at Fingask
