MINUTE OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The minute was read and its acceptance was
proposed by Mrs R Havranek and seconded
by Mr A. Muirhead
POLICE AND FIRE
Constable Gordon Reid of Tayside Police gave
a report on policing in the area saying that a matter of wilful fireraising was dealt with and
alcohol was confiscated in the grounds of
Inchture School
PLANNING
The Draft Local Plan was discussed and it was
decided that the Councils comments to be communicated to Perth & Kinross
Couincil would be as follows -
1 That the site to the north of the Moncur Rd should be
zoned for housing, community woodland with sufficient space left to provide a
future access to the A 90
2 That any development using a septic tank or
bio-disc should not be allowed to
discharge into surface water ie a burn.
It was
noted that there were no development proposals for Kinnaird, Abernyte, Kilspindie or Rait other than infill sites
or conversions
The demolition, of
Mains of Inchture steading, is still being investigated by J. Hulbert.
TWINNING
The Burns Supper held at Inchture on 5/2/05
was a success.
There is an opportunity for a young person
aged 18-20 for a supported job placement in Fleac.
EDUCATION
The school picnic bench is ongoing
PARKS & LEISURE
Mr Graham Harbutt of P & K Council still
has to contact the "Friends of the Park" through N Ebblewhite.
The Inchture Park pond is increasing in size.
The bench which is
required at Colonsay Green for those supervising their children on the play
equipment is still to be installed..
SOCIAL WORK/HEALTH MATTERS

ROADS & TRANSPORT
A 30 MPH sign and traffic has been installed
on the Moncur Rd.
at Inchture.
TREES & ENVIRONMENT
The replanting of trees at Inchture
Interchange is now complete.
A search for the tree
planting plan for the trees lining Inchture
Main Street is being undertaken by P & K Council.
